everything you point out is all true and all very sad but I have to assert that it is not universally true of all men. I just turned 70 and I have had a long life of gender embarrassment. I also know a lot of men like me who have spent their lives being fair and respectful of all genders and all ethnicities. I do not have any hope of a good outcome. I worry about my grandkids. We do need to build on what is positive and protect what gains we have made. Not by tearing down the way others are but by supporting them in their growth and helping them see their own need for change. When the apocalypse comes we need to be ready not by being armed and ready to kill all trespassers but by knowing how to survive and share, to help and to heal, as a community of survivors. IMHO.
