Medium crawling

In a few days Medium dot com will be hosting a 24 extravaganza of writers connecting with other writers and, we all hope, growing our audience and increasing our income. It has been a minute since I have published anything here yet I read Medium daily.

I am surprised at my enthusiasm for this online event. I want to write more. I want to deliver more of my photos, my view of the world, my perspective on life. I think Medium is a good outlet to accomplish my intentions.

I am hopeful, if not confident, that I will connect with other writers and other publications that will grow my network. I could use a little more income. My average income from Medium posts is around $0.54. This is not covering my cost of membership. I am hopeful, not confident, that this can happen.

I am not interested so much in the income though as I am in sharing ideas and fostering discussion. To further this goal I created a publication Educators on Education. If you are a current or retired teacher please consider offering your work for inclusion in this publication. Other specialists in education are also welcome. School counselors, coaches, tech specialist/trainers maybe even administrators if the piece is about teaching and the administration of teachers. I do not think this is the place for administrivia or simply venting about the trials and tribulations of being an administrator in a school. After all you left the classroom to be an administrator by choice.

I hope to connect with many of my readers and many others during the 24 hour event #MediumPubCrawl on March 19 and 20. You can l;earn more here…..
