After the solstice, now
The light is returning
But winter’s light returns at its own pace…..

The days get longer each day yet days of rain seem even darker Until a sunny day seems suddenly longer…..

In decades past the January Sun would barely warm the cold winds blowing through from the northwest
This January, right now, warm rains sweep up from the Gulf of Mexico…..

Warm Sun cold clear blue skies Warm gray wet foggy no sky Warm heart opening reaching waiting is…..
